 I happened upon this fly by chance while coming in from taking various other pictures for the Macro challenge. This was a hard decision, as close-ups are my favourite types of shots to do, but I decided the fly had the best detail.

Editing: Resized, cropped, adjustment layers to mute and desaturate the background tones (fly was on a lawn chair), hue/saturation, levels, curves, Neat Image, sharpening.

Yet another bug hunt. Feels like about the middle of the bug pack to me. Good image. Not so easy to capture since this one looks alive. Good effort. Tough competition.
