 I was inspired by a 3D rendered image of an Artist by the name of André Kutscherauer (I believe he is from Germany) who created a character similar to this in 3d studio max.  I saw this challenge and told myself that I would love to create the photographed version of his work.  Of course this is nowhere near as clean as his version, but it couldn't have been considering this character was created from bunch of photographs of different pieces while his was a 3D rendered image in 3d studio max. André's work is amazing.  This is the link to his 3D rendered version:

Perhaps the most time-consuming work I have ever done.  It made me run to the hardware store a few time before I was even ready to start the photography.  Many, many hours of setup, photography, and photoshop work went into creating this dude.  Thanks for the feedbacks and comments.

There were a lot of great entries in this challenge. Congratulations to the ribbon winners.

I think what I like the most here is the way you handled reflections in the bulb itself: fantastic! Of course, the whole work is also highly impressive, given the fact it is all made of photos. I was foreseeing a ribbon for this one, but congratulations on the HM nonetheless!
