 Taken at the end of the day at our monthly wolf hike. We were headed back to the car through this beautiful field of tiny yellow wildflowers. I was down on the ground, trying to get some bokeh shots when I hear an expletive from my sweetie. He'd almost stepped on this baby rattler. He was only about a foot long but moved like lightning, and it was almost impossible for me to stay in front of him. I wanted to get down lower and get more of the yellow flowers in the bg, but he was too quick for me. I only got about 6 shots before he slithered to safety in the center of a tumbleweed bush.

No not me. Don't know where you were when you took this shot but I would never be able to look into any snake's eyes. Brave one

i think u just missed the focus on it's head otherwise it would have been good pic
