 Kind of a last minute entry. Went on a nice drive with my wife and baby to Hartbeespoort Dam for lunch and stopped to take a few shots on the way home.
There was some aweful weather all round today and I guess it helped to add some drama to the shot.
Shot in RAW, tweaked colours, opened in PS CS3, B&W adjustment layer, colour balance adjustment layer and a combination of Adamus sharpening and Smart Sharpen, SFW.
I tried a bit of smart sharpen with a larger radius than sharpen percentage to give some more contrast to the clouds. Not sure if the viewers will like it but I quite liked the way it gave the clouds an almost HDR Tonemapped look - so I kept it.
Hoping for between 5.7 and 6.0
