Okay, i may have read the sentence to the theme wrong. I took the theme to be "miniature" and that we were to take a photo "that conveys to the viewer that the subject of your photo is a tinier version of something that is normally larger."
So others have pointed out that the object was supposed to be something small....if so...oops.
This came from a recent photoshoot i did:
On the technical side....i was not very happy with this shoot. It was extremely sunny and i had never really photographed in such bright conditions. I kicked myself afterwards for not using a polarized filter...live and learn!
I am still very new to all of this...
To those who still enjoyed the shot and the work that went into the toying of perspective...much thanks!

Looks like forced perspective to me which wasn't what this challenge was about.
"Compose and photograph something "miniature" in such a way that it conveys to the viewer that the subject of your photo is a tinier version of something that is normally larger."
The composition is good but it appears a bit overexposed and washed out to me. |

Nice placement and good holding the DoF. Not sure what's miniature - but the illusion works. |

Seems slightly OOF and you have too much empty space at the top. |

Well done perspective shot. Rocks could be just a bit sharper. |

Didn't like the blurriness of the lighthouse. |

is that a real lighthouse being made to look small, or is it really a toy light house? it it is a toy, then i would classify it as a miniature. if this is a matter of perspective, then i would hesitate to say it meets the challenge. it is a clever shot with potential. you might want to try it not so centered and at a time of day when the light doesn't wash out the lighthouse details so much. |

Not precisely apropos to the challenge, but a very nice perspective photo. |

a bit on the overexposed side making the lighthouse is too white and leading to a loss of detail in it |

Looks like a forced perspective shot, which is not what I took this challenge to be. Lighthouse is too bright, girl's face is out of focus... 5 |
