 I'm so glad this was well received, it's a shame to leave it without some notes.
It was a magical evening:


I experimented with this one a lot - lucky to catch this dramatic sky, I was totally unprepared for the compositional challenge this image turned out to be. Getting the rain, the three hills and the layers of houses linked to the stadium in a square didn't make much sense initially. I had to change tonality to practically entire town around the stadium, including the parks. Of course, the dramatic sky helps a lot and hopefully distracts the viewer from the composition puzzle :).
In the process, I realized the difference from smooth tones at the top to harsh contrast at the bottom. Still, I sort of liked that, I could justify it with the urban feeling contrasting the nature at the top.

Well I'm glad you folks like it, thank you for the great comments and votes! It was a happy week watching two images do so well.

Stunning shot with processing that is well out of my league. I don't see how the square crop was necessary or beneficial to this but I'm not voting so it doesn't matter. I'd wager it'll do extremely well.
