 Being similar to a "toy" I'm guessing this will end up middle of the pack. Plus, it's just not super exciting; it's just a photo of some neat shot glasses. I'm sure there will be much more creative shots out there, but this photo got me to experiment with lighting more, which is never a bad thing.

I had one flash with a soft box to the left of camera. It was aimed so only some spill light hit the glasses. Then a flash on the right side of the camera with a snoot, a diffuser (piece of cloth), and holding up a 5-in-1 reflector in diffusion mode between the flash and the glasses. Finally, I used two lamps under the table pointing to the wall with a piece of green wrapping tissue paper to give the color. Took many tries to get this right while avoiding extreme reflections.

Good lighting, cool shot glasses, and good setup. Just not interesting enough.

cute idea. some of the details make this shot a little less powerful - dusty glasses, skewed rotations of the glasses (in the 3 stack, not the shredder).

I like the green light reference, but also think this could have done well with a really urban texture/ brick/concrete.
