 Yes it's a dead bee, not my own doing though. :)

My first entry using Canon 10D.
Sigma 105mm macro lens

Taken on a bright sunny day under a white garden umbrella. The white reflection at the bottom of the eyes of the bee was from the surface of a metal table.

cloned out the back leg of the bee that was sticking out and some white spots on the body and eyes of the bee.

Nice macro shot. Lots of great detail. I just find the colour of the bee a little bland. Nice capture of a not so photogenic bee. 7

Yet another B image ... and a good one at that. I like the sharp focus and great colors. It's hard to criticize or find an improvement to suggest. Well done. Among the best of the Bee genre.
