The Santa Cruz boardwalk is open, (does it ever close?) but the season really starts in a few more weeks when school lets out and the weather warms up just a bit more. Today's visit was to an almost deserted amusement park. Fun for pictures, but not much action.

This seems like a familiar rather than a unique point of view. Also I don't care for the lighting. Your subject is nice and colorful, but it fails to pop.

I love this - the colours are so vibrant and it has been taken in such a way that the horse, while stationery, seems very powerful. Magnificent Beast chasing circles. Beautiful photograph.

They say you should get real close with your shots. I honestly think this could be shot from a little further away. It is slightly underexposed as well... a little on the grey and dull side. I think these colors should be vivid and pop!
