Please take this as constructive criticism because God knows I've turned in a few poor shots in my day (and will probably turn in more), but I don't know what you expected with this shot. The fit of the "costume" on the model is poor. The lighting is also poor, from the blown out sky to the shadows on the subject herself. The composition follows no known artistic rules I can point to (no rule of thirds--unless we count her eyes, which are not gold and hence should not be the subject)) The trees appear to be growing out of her boady in some areas and then are totally blurred in others. Perhaps a shallow DOF would have helped a bit. Keep shooting, keep submitting, and the best of luck. |

a good idea - but the lighting (little or no fill or reflector), busy background, and unflattering pose work against the image |

try a more shallow DOF, would bring your model into greater apparent contrast against the background |
