 A handy helper that my husband purchased out of a discount bin. At the time I gave him a hard time about buying it because I couldn't see what in the world we'd use it for, but he hasn't gotten it back since we brought it home that day.

Post Processing:
Crop, Levels, Curves, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Sat...

The pencil was used to show the overall size of the objects, especially the book - which was my miniature object. The pencil ties in with the photo as well because you could say he's updating/changing/writing/adding/deleting... and the fact that the pencil eraser is all worn down might indicate that as well.

I thought this would go much higher. Gave it a 10. Loved the background, lighting and b&w finish.

Thanks to everyone for the comments! This was my first real attempt at a serious studio setup. I'm happy with the results of both the shot and the challenge results. :-)

Ah, could be a promo for a Pixar movie. I love it! You can use a version of this if there's ever an "anthropomorphism" challenge! LOL
