I've shot this subject with a succession of camera and wee phones, last time a year ago when my friends Cristy (Ristyz) and Amy had iPhone 4 and I had iP3g.
So Cristy and I decided to do night shots, she'd seen a lamp at Pinkberry in that last visit, and we both love the "Human Habitrail", the walkway between the two manmade lakes at Dos Lagos. Before the economy tanked, these luxury shops and eateries, improbably located in Corona, CA, were fiercely guarded by security as well as off-duty policemen, and they would not allow photography with "real" cameras without permission. I'd asked and had been denied before. So only "winky cams" were a go there.
I've entered winky images here from this walkway before. I didn't change the default on the type of camera, lens. Processing was through noise reduction through Lightroom as a JPG of course, then a Nik bicolor filter to drop the warm white balance, and then Nik's Monday morning for the blur and monochrome look, then darkened the edges with Nik's darken/lighten center. One dust spot cloned out. Hand-held at 1/15th and f2.8, can't believe it turned out this well. Thanks for the great placement!
Here's the old shots, first which I unfortunately named the same as this one. This one in daytime with the p&S . |
