That's a scary picture. Could be a little brighter on his face and darker on the body. I'm sure you didn't have time for a bunch of shots though. I'd be scared to death. Good shot though. |

like the idea but would like to see it with better lighting on the snake's head. A lot of the detail seems to be lost in the shadows |

What a cool picture! To my eyes, it would be even more interesting if there were more light on the snake's face and more of his/her body was in focus. The color is lovely and I love the shine on the facial skin and eye. |

I like how the snake's form slithers from the corner ans the turns back to look at you - nice composition , nice for the eye to follow. The narrow DOF works nicely too. I wish the snake face were more in the light! Could you dodge it in a bit more? |

Great macro. A little tongue would be cool. |

Great picture and it's not a bug or a flower. I love the focus, DOF and reflections. Great capture. |

Great composition, I just wish the lighting was a little better on the left side. |

Personal preferance, of course, but I'd also love to see this cropped tighter so that magnificant, well focused head didn't have to compete with the OOF body. |

Nose-to-nose look~ focus is perfect on the eye which is good. The white base looks like snow which seems a bit unnatural for the snake. Exposure appears right on. |
