Went out for a walk just when the clouds were about to let the sun through after a rainy day, and found this little fella hanging out over my neighbour's fence, and decided that he will be my victim. With a spray bottle I made the drops look a bit prettier, and started to shoot away.

Started with my flash (off camera), but the the natural light just looked so much prettier and decided to go with that.

Wish I could spot edit this picture, to get rid of that nasty little bit in the drop (upper right hand corner) that I didn't see when I was shooting. Other than this, I don't know what to say. Feel free to ask me whatever you want.

First entry with my new camera, my old best friend, the D70, decided to die a while back (RIP, my love) but I think that I'm starting to get along pretty well with my new buddy.

this is really pretty, you have really good detail...to my eye if you had turned the flower just a bit - to say the 2 o'clock position (lower right corner) your center of the flower would have really lead me through the picture, making my eye travel fluidly through the picture (not sure if that makes sense or not...)

How do I know this is in the garden or field? It's pretty but I don't think it meets the challenge.
