Nice and close, different focus is a little confusing, probably would have got those 2 in the middle upper frame as the focal subjects and dropped the contrast to darken the background (hard in Basis I admit) but that's just me. Lovely little things, good choice though. |

Lovely colors. I do like shallow DOF flower shots, but in this case the foreground OOF bits aren't appealing to me. A little more DOF or a slightly different angle would put the foreground all in focus, which would work better IMO. |

the DOF is a bit narrow in my opinion |

I think a higher f/stop would've helped so more of the actual flower is in focus, while still keeping the background blurry. |

Pretty, I like the background but the flower doesn't seem to be in focus and you could use more DOF. |

Nicely done; the shallow dof really sets it off. |

it can really be tricky getting great sharp pictures of flowers and a wonderful BG like you have...it seems that there is alway such a narrow field of focus when using these f-stops...IMO (which does not count for much) I would have preferred this to have the focus on the top leading me down to the softer areas of focus, leading my eye out of the photo...rather than on the bottom one and the next one up on the right side, then I stop...I'm not lead out of the picture (if you get what I mean...probably not) |
