 Worked mostly on the background. Using my black backdrops with wet paint flying around seemed a bit desperate.

Quote of the weekend:

"I think you might have slipped over the edge on this DPC thing." My Wife.

Lights are mostly lower left from the camera in order to darken the other hand. If the subject wasn't "blue" I might have equally lit both hands, but I wanted them for composition.

I ended up really liking this shot, but probably would not have thoguht of it if I wasn't painting my son's son's room this weekend. Any guesses on color?

This photo was robbed. I don't see how it got only an average score of 5.485. It's a technically good photo, plus the good idea earns it at least another point.
