 I seriously couldn't see after trying to focus on this dandelion directly into the sun. Oh well that's the sacrifice for photographers...

Thanks for the helpful comments i wish i"d gotten a better take of this... I was honestly afraid of damaging my camera... Anyway - and that's some cold shit Beefncheez especially for a newbie like me... But I appreciate the comments all the same.

If this were in perfect focus, this would've worked beautifuly. Unfortunately, it's not.
I find the weird shaped white/gray area amongs the black in the background very awkward.

While the idea is good, the photo needs work. The dandelion is not in focus and the sunlight is too bright and blown out.

The most certainly doesn't look in the 'wild'. The light source to me clearly screams artificial. Not to mention I am not sure what is going on with the white blob. I think you're shooting for the brown here (ironically the last in my set of images to judge).
