Never spent so much time on a photo, hope it's worth it.
Soldered two wires on the light bulb and pulled the wires through a white 12mm pe-x pipe and fastened the pipe so it looked like the bulb was hovering.
Had to use lone exposure since I only have 1 flash unit and had to fire it twice, from below and from the side and have time to turn the light bulb on and off.
Only wished I could have gotten the background lighter, hope it does meet challenge.

Guess my screen needs calibration, on my screen it looked good. Not completely white, just a little grey. But since so many of you guys were talking about it being yellow. I tried printing it out and came out yellow, maybe a little brown even.
Next time I'll pick the photo I'll use from the on camera lcd not from my computer.

I wondered how you did it.. very creative, still wish it was whiter.. but I know how the lack of lighting thing goes :)

Good product photo. It seems the background could be more of a cream to white tint, as my screen is showing beige.

Not the best light bulb in the challenge, I think because of the white balance, tho I would like to know how you got it lit without editing

Your background isn't white, it's sort of tan. You could probably fix this with better lighting and custom white balance. Cool job on lighting the lightbulb without any wires visible.

tricky shot and good focus, but exposure and lighting are not well controlled, white balance is a bit off

Light on white? I don't see the white.

Excellent job on the exposure; background seems to have a color cast on my monitor.
