 I love these birds.
Rainbow Lorikeets.
They spend all their time squawking and flying from tree to tree in pairs. They make some amount of noise and mess from the nuts off gum trees but I can forgive them for that as they are truely beautiful birds.
They seem genuinly interested in people, as I was watching them they kept an eye on me too!
I spent a few days photographing them and they posed very nicely for the camera!

Wow....every time I see this type of bird I wonder what Mother Nature had to eat or drink before she went to sleep to dream them up!!!! Delicious shot!
