Sorry, but my brain didn't process the title with the picture. A little too late, but I think you should have scored better.

Thanks for the compliments, pamb, Jutilda, and paulbtlw. And thanks for the input, dianapf1.
Vintage 1950's/Norman Rockwell is what I was going for with this processing, which is really outside my normal "thing" so it was a fun educational stretch into a new area.
Thanks, paulbtlw, for taking the extra time to look for the out-of-the-ordinary/unconventional. I try to do the same thing when I vote/critique as my eye likes to find the things that haven't been seen before or not seen in the same way. I'm glad this photo worked for you! |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I like unusual portraits and this one nails it; the quirky expression, the 70s coloration, the liberal noise. All good.
Critical stuff: No
Overall: Exceptionally well made. |

Definite throw back! Cute and well processed for the style I think you were going after. |
