 The little colored drawing is part of a prep. sketch of a large series of my art work cycle titled "Nests".
Coming from a walk in the Park, after yet another cold, rainy day of this capricious spring, I used my scarf to "protect" the budding trees. The fragile blades of grass are sprouts of wheat berries from Easter.
I was really looking to create a delicate spring image with nuances of warm greens.

Until I read the photo title, I thought at first it was the Crown of Thorns for Jesus. Now that I look closer, I can see that it is not but I can also see you've done an awesome job at setting up this photo. Not a favorite of mine but a solid 9.

At first I thought the edges were rolled up dollar bills!! I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at but it is gorgeous. Some sort of scarf/s backlit through a hole in a cardboard?
