Taken at Dartington Hall near Totnes? That stone wall, and the yews which look like they are part of the row called the "12 apostles" make me think it must have been. One of my favorite places, I would visit it every time I went back to visit my parents who lived nearby. I find the yews domiante the image rather too much, and it lacks the "quirky" feel or activity I associate with HCB's images. |

HCB did like to find shapes and incorporate those, so this is a good catch with that in mind. From a candid perspective, it is a bit ordinary perhaps. From a mininal perspective, maybe just a tad too much sharpening set in camera? |

Feels much too voyeuristic for HCB. You did capture the geometry I'm used to seeing in some of his images. Myabe a face would have helped. |
