 Taken at the Mid Lancs Athletics Meeting in Lancaster, England.

This lad was by far the best Long Jumper, although the lad in the background was his closest rival.

I particuarly like the expressions of those around the athlete which for me makes this shot.

I would have prefered this to have been advanced editing so i could remove the lad who appears to be dissapering up the starts butt.

Lightroom 3 adjustments, convert to B&W and add grain.

PSE8, Crop, USM, Save for web.

"Capture objects in the air." is the challenge description... I don't consider humans as objects... sooo... Not sure how to vote this so will be back later.
