I love your title. Your timing was good for capturing this pose. I love her outfit too. I'm not sure if you can do it with your camera, but for an indoor lighting shot, I'd try and change the F-stop number. Get it as low as possible (use the f 4.5). This means the aperature is bigger, and more light will get in. More light means you can use a faster shutter speed and that starts to cut down on the possibility of blurring the shot.
You have a great eye for these types of moments. I can't wait to see more of your work :) |

While this is an interesting effect in any case, I certainly wouldn't have guessed that it was taken during a performance, assuming instead that it was a setup. In that case, very effective use of metering- it adds greatly to the moody feel of her pose. |

In my opinion, a little more black space under her feet would have her levitate more. |
