 This time of year, in this part of the world, is a difficult one for this challenge. We have so many trees and buildings grouped together that it's tough to get anything minimalistic. I spent all week thinking of what to do, and it wasn't until Sunday morning that I found some photos of interest. I actually got two photos that morning, and had a hard time deciding between them. Eventually I settled on this one because I believe it will be the more unique entry, and I'm hoping that gives it a slight boost in voting. Post Processing:
* White Balance
* Clone out a small piece of garbage in the field
* Recovery
* Increase black point
* Highlights
* Topaz Adjust (simplified the details to make this a bit more minimalistic)
* Crop
* Increase Black Point further
* Increase Contrast
* Increase Definition
* Decrease Saturation with higher vibrancy
* Levels
* Reduce oranges and increase blues
* Blue color monochrome to add vibrancy to the sky
* Brown color monochrome to warm up the ground
* Export as TIFF
* Resize
* Sharpen Edges
* Save as JPEG

I am wondering if B&W would not greatly benefit this lovely picture. The colors are so washed out and not too interesting but the movement and graphic details are wonderful.

the lines are great - i just wonder how deep depth of field would have worked

Good image; however, I think it would look even better if you filled the frame with the lines of corn. Nice shallow depth of field, though. :)
