 Missed seeing the topic announced, but saw it last night and thought I just had to get a shot. This is a wild hive in my girlfriend's tree. The combs themselves are exposed in one spot, so all I had to do was go clambering up the tree and creep up to the bees. They were quite amiable, as has been my experience with other hordes of bees.

you are a nut. climb up a tree to sneak up on some wild hive bees. lol so did you use your flash? That will teach them for not paying attention. Crazy man!
