Regarding the processing, RAW conversion in LR3 then CS4 for levels. Nik Silver 2. I typically start in neutral and choose the yellow filter, specifically to get the flower as bright as possible. I then will use the color channel sliders to brighten the flower. Fiddle with the tone curve and then save it as a preset to apply as a starting point for the rest of the set. I then use control points for dodging and burning or neutral gray soft light layers in CS4. Funal toning back in Nik Silver, although for this set I included the toning in the preset. I save and delet presets frequently as they are light and subject dependent.
