 Takin in the woods behind my house at around 6:30pm. Picture should be fairly self-explanatory. Stack of firewood ended up being more difficult to see in the images than I had hoped, despite my attempts to contrast it with the green leaves. Such is life.

I found the picture amusing, probably mostly because I think the gnome is funny as hell.

Exposure value set to -1.3 in order to compensate for extraordinarily bright sunlight on gnome's face. Minor modifications in photoshop with regard to color saturation, cropping, border addition.

Aren't gnomes supposed to be miniature?

Great composition. The border really works well too. The lighting adds real depth to the image.The head of the axe is just a little obscure in the shadow at the front so that it takes a moment for me to actually identify what the scene is. Nice image though.

Not sure what to say. Not a bad picture and the color of gnome makes it pop. Then you notice the leave and ax handle in the light, but the black head of the ax seems to blend too much at the bottom of the picture.

The wood was a little difficult to spot at first.
