The still life symbolism is to Cancer. It affects us all, in one way or another. Fathers, Mothers and Children. Letting go, leaves you hallow inside, thus the hallow shells, a piece of you gone forever. The claw is to symbolizes a grip that we have on life. The soft out of focus whiter sand infront represents the letting go of life, something even a crabs strong grip cannot hold.
