 Ok this is not a pretty still life, but its not meant to be. This was the first 'message' that came to mind when reading the challenge, so that is what I stuck with.
I dont expect this to do well at all, maybe Im way off track about the meaning of the challenge, non the less this is my 'symbolic message'. it amazes me that the reality of drink driving just never seems to sink in.

Shot using natural light from window, partly cause I wanted to keep it real and mostly cause I suck at 'Studio' type lighting. Crop only.

Concept is good. Lighting isn't the greatest because it makes the image very orange. Sharpness could be improved as well.
