 beneath our deck in the back yard- this nest has 4 little Robbins its a tight spot and I was nervous about the mother bird being bothered by my presence but so far she has not seemed to care that we are around and peeking at her nest here and there and watching the progress of her little ones growth...

All the yearnings, sorrows and needs of the world in this picture. It's way beyond the typical little bird shot. Congratulations! I did not vote or looked at this challenge until now and I am so impressed! Wonderful textures as well.

Very interesting a nicely framed. Seems the sharpening is giving a bit of a dark edge around the bird's mouth.

Oh my goodness -- only a mother could find this adorable. And the sepia makes it look like the nest is located in a deep puddle of mud. Very nice capture though.
