 Been lost in a pretty bad case of the blues the last few weeks. It's nearing June's end, and I find I've made exactly two shots all month that I've been even a smidge proud of. This is the one that will likely have more appeal to the crowd.

Went out for a night drive some weeks back, just to clear my head. Took Camera with me, just in case. Found myself at the big slough on the outskirts of the city, wandering the trails just before dawn. Shot a lot of frames, some of which even came out okay.

Some aspect of my spirit unfolds when surrounded by wood and water, fluttering bats and the barking of frogs. The closest humans just a twinkling on the horizon.
