Almost but somehow not quite a winner. I think, more of the guitar body is needed?

Voted eralier, returning for comments.

It may be argued that guitar strings are not really parallel, but hey, we are noy here to verify these lirrle inconsitencies. You do imply the spirit of the concept and a good departure from the roads and tracks. Bumping from 5 to 6.

Great use of light and composition but I don't feel that is suits the challenge very well because the vanishing point isn't really there. Beautiful image though...

This is clearly the fingerboard of a well-played guitar. And it's past time to change those strings. Great shot, though - you really exaggerated the converging lines well.

The black background makes the subtle colors really zing. I'd like to see the first fret area in the foreground in focus. The diagonal placement is very effective and creative.

Mmmm, very nice composition and crop. I love the deep dof. The textures are great too. An all-around outstanding job. Meets the challenge perfectly, and creatively! 8.
