A very cloudy, over cast day in the wild, in Alaska. I waited a long time for this beautiful creature to lift off and find lunch, but he was entirely too comfortable just observing. I am in awe of these beautiful birds and wish I could have spent more time observing and photographing them.
Also, didn't think we'd be running into eagles this day, so, of course, I had my "walking around lens", which would not have been my first choice.
