 Went to a car show June 4th. Too many people to get the whole car. I always love reflections so I was taking photos of the bumpers. This is one of a maroon Studebaker. I like the abstract feel so I went with it. Won't be liked by the masses but who cares. I like it and I enjoyed processing it. That is me squating in the reflection. It has an abstract feel. I cropped in close and went with the B/W choice that my son and his friend picked. Curious on the comments that I will receive. It has been awhile since I entered.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Very well seen and very well executed. Both the shot and the processing are bang on. You get a really sense of the shininess of the chrome here and the deep blacks of your high contrast processing is excellent. I really like how the two reflections offer two very different versions of the same scene.

Critical stuff: I wish the top right corner was completely black.

Overall: Very nice indeed.

Yeah!! This is very cool! Love it!! B&W is perfect choice! It looks like it was taken from another time. The clouds, palm trees, photographer crouching and especially the guy in the Bermuda shorts don't give anything away that this photo was taken in 2011. Love the abstract feel and reflection. Wonderful!! Hope it scores well!
