This was also one of my higher scores. It reminded me instantly of Martin Parr's New Brighton (The Last Resort) collection. I feel for her, those knees would be very very sore.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Some people will take this as a snapshot. I don't. This is comedy, authenticity, juxtaposition - the iPod shuffle, the Morrison's bag, the rubble-like cobbles, the burnt skin, the meditative pose, the stark sunshine, the girls behind, the clipped head. All marvellous.

Critical stuff: Nothing.

Overall: Perfect parody of so much stereotyping. Well done.
