 actually the second.... (i know im fudging on the date again, but the local fireworks here were a few days early and im not going to have another opportunity - i will be VERY surprised if i score high enough for it to go to ribbon validation and i will risk the DQ for comments :) ) and i am glad that we got bothered by security, hopped a fence and sat in the long, itchy grass with our two year old for an hour and a half waiting for the sprint cars to finish their races and the fireworks to finally start! note to el dorado county fairground operators: even in summer, "fireworks at dark" is not the same as "fireworks a fair bit after dark at 10"!

this was my first ever time shooting fireworks - i think it went ok! i wish it had been longer and i think i will turn the noise reduction off next time because it laaaaaaaagged writing to the card and not letting me shoot the next one...
