 I decided to take one single image of a sparkler and to make the best image possible through PP as an exercise in experimentation and just for fun. I would enter this shot in the challenge no matter how low it may score. As a result the shot was out of focus and would normally be deleted without a second thought. Even though I had plenty of time to reshoot, this was my project and a way of making it fun (for me).

I’m not unhappy with the result and perhaps some might appreciate it as well. I really enjoyed setting myself limitations and will probably try this more often. This may well earn me my first Brown Ribbon and I would be as proud as punch to get it for something like this.

I see the dandelion, well done. My preference however is for a focus on the sparks and trails for fireworks, but I see the title! Extra point for that!
