 Namuch special to speak of. The party at a buddy's house, where I caught the 4th last night. I wanted to watch the big sponsored fireworks show downtown. But the hubby is a closet pyro and made sad faces when I suggested we skip blowing up our own stuff this year.

Yeah, he had four mortars going off at once in this shot.

Ahhh, too bad this didn't do better. I quite liked it and gave it a 9. I like the dusk blue sky in the bg and the close proximity to the neighborhood. It give the image dimension and perspective. I voted down the other images that were sky and fireworks only which lacked and foreground or background to give the image scope.
