A broken piece of red plastic tail-light with refracting prisms. Turned it at an angle to the sun to make it partly transparent. Used mini-tripod and timer, but had to hand-hold the subject material.

I was "on location" and had nothing to remove the bits of dirt, so I tried to de-emphasize them with an oval vignette, darkened and blurred a bit.

-Oval feathered selection
-RGB Curve through mask
-Gaussian Blur through mask
-Resize
-USM at 88%/0.8 dia/TH = 5 (applied twice)
-Rotate 180°
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 10/10 = 273KN

I think I see Q*bert trying to sneak in on the top right! This is my favorite so far and my only "8" of the bunch...great stuff.
