Belated Happy Birthday to the subject - hope it was a good one.
The candles are perfectly exposed in the picture, with nice colors too! Everything else is too dark though. Happy Birthday is a happy occasion, and the picture needs to be bright and cheerful to depict it. If necessary, I'd expose one for the candles, and one for everything else, and then combine the exposures into a HDR. |

| That is a gorgeous cake! Someone was probably very pleased. Nice work with the exposure though perhaps a touch more light from other than the candles to illuminate the arms would be good. Still, the longer you look at it, the more it fits the mood. I'd love a slice, thanks! |
