Thank you all for your comments. We were at the Sonora Desert Museum and they have this large hummingbird aviary. It's so cool. They fly right up to you and you can walk up to them (not that they sit for long). I even found some little nests, but no eggs or birds in them. It was my favorite part of the whole museum! I could have spent all day just in that one exhibit. |

GREAT shot! Picture is a bit noisy, though. Have you tried a noise reduction plug-in? |

Nice to see a hummingbird on this site that is not in flight. You get +1 for not turning in an almost sharp flying shot. |

Not really what I would classify a macro, more a "closeup", I mean, you got the whole subject in the frame, just like a headshot is to me a closeup but a picture of someones eye would be a macro to me. Not a bad shot though so I gave it a 5. |

The crop is so tight, he looks like he's trapped! Still a good shot, and I'm sure not so easy to capture! |
