 I was wandering around my local churchyard looking for photo opportunities, and I found this blue door which I hadn't previously known was there, and I loved the door handle. As the door was blue, I thought it might be a suitable subject for this challenge, with the handle placed as the focal point, and the bars and nail heads providing a nice amount of detail in the rest of the image.
The only post processing I have done to this image is to crop it and adjust the contrast/brightness and colour very slightly in photoshop.

Thanks, this is my first ever submission to the site, so I am actually rather pleased it wasn't right at the bottom of the list!

I realised when I put it on the computer that the focus was a little out, and I'd have preferred the handle to have been in focus more. I'd have also liked a more 'blue' colour, but I am still learning the camera and post processing techniques. There is a basis of a really good image here, I need to go back and try it again!
