While I like the idea, I feel the photo needs a bit of work. The first thing that drew my eye was the hat and the badge on it. But being out of focus my mind went instantly to "not quite right". then I see the crease that runs throughout the photo, which is highlight distracting. I hope this helps.

Such a good concept. The fact that the reflection of the blue background is all over the metal really kills this. That metal shield and the cap badge need to be crisp and silver and shiny. I am not sure if you are using a blue light or not but I think this could have been done on white and it would have really gotten the point across.
