 Small bird feather, backlit with hand held flash offside then one flash from the side to light the blue.
35mm f3.5 PC Nikkor and bellows. Import to iPhoto for basic edit, then Graphic Converter to resize.

Gorgeous. Excellent idea, excellently executed. An Eye burner because of the optical illusion type nature, but awesome.
