 I have been shooting a series on hummingbirds for my own portfolio. I treasure these little birds and have learned a lot after sitting for many hours waiting for their arival. They are fiesty little creatures and often buzz my camera coming right up to the lens. They are quite challenging to photograph since their wings beat incredibly fast and they rarely are still.

A very cool capture. Having seen william88's hummer captures, DPCers expectations have gone up I think. I would've liked a bit more light on the wings - maybe a flash from under? And the vignetting is slightly distracting on this pic. But, I know how hard it is to capture hummers in flight, so, well done...

Nice detail on the hummingbird's feathers. If you crop a little from the right/left side you can make a slightly taller rectangle, which would draw the eye even more into the piece.
