Location: River Legacy Park, Arlington, TX
Date: Aug 7, 2004
Galleries: Nature, Architecture

I walked a mile to get this shot at River Legacy park in Arlington, TX. This was also my first shot using the circular polarizer filter (yea, me!). I used levels, curves, selective color and saturation.

I really like the colors and textures; the lighting is just perfect to bring them out. The riders fill the width of the road, cutting off the sense of infinite distance it might otherwise have. Aside from that, a perfect shot.

I think a closer crop of the bridge would've given more impact. Your eyes seem to wonder because of the overhang. I like how the people are included and makes you feel like you are there.

Nice. I think I'd of like one giant step to the right or more centered. The color, tones and focus are really good. 8

Repetition is great. The people with their backs toward you emphasize the vanishing point because everyone is going to the point. Good job!
