I'm thinking, just another road... but something keeps drawing me back to this one. Great composition and symmetry, and I love the choice of colors... it just makes me realize what a long way I have to go to get as good as people like you. :) You've made something normally mundane completely the opposite of that. |

Voted eralier, returning for comments.
Wow, these white lines do not only meet the challenge, but they also take over the picture. Nice resolution of the concept. |

Great angle and perspective. The tone take some getting used to as I find it an unusual choice, its just a bit to red for me and it appears that you were doing a bit of IR as well. I think it works rather well. Like it very much. |

caroline's first impression was that of a tiger, perhaps the shading has created a hidden image. |

Wow. I'm not sure what you did with the colours but it is beautiful. Perfect 'reflection' off the road and a stunning photo overall. |

Interesting illusion in your shot. The bottom of the photo looks narrower than the top. Nice job. |

not sure if it quite meets the challenege, but i still like the colours in the image. brightening the hilly area and giving it more detail would have been better. |

This is a good example of a vanishing point that's not actually in the frame. The sides of the road as well as the center lines point at it's location which is (maybe) somewhere in the mountains. Good focus and love it as a duotone (tritone?) although details get blown out the further back you go on the road. My only real issue with this photo is the gray sploth in the upper left which appears to be some bit of dust. Good effort! |

It's a Long road to the top, and this stretch puts you right on track. Good pic. |

A well used motive, but the mountains adds to the road. Giving more depth.
I think I would prefer less light so the centerlines wouldn't disappear so early. |

I love the "UV" effect. It really works well for this image. I am interested in how you did this! |
