 Okay, so this isn't my main occupation any more, but it was either this or a shot of a cube farm/computer screen!

The record really is red. Lighting by a couple of halogen desk lamps and a maglite.

very nice.. good lighting and DoF... would be even better or would make a nice turntable ad shot if we could read everything on the needle arm

Nice, but I can't help thinking I'd like to see some motion on that platter, and the black area up top isn't adding much to the image. Hang th' DJ.

Excellent (a wow) image, perfect title. The play of light on the LP is beautiful, and the choice of having a red LP is perfect. Again, the only thing I can say is perfect, a 10!

I don't understand your title, unless you are trying to say you are the DJ that saved someone's life, which the photo leads me to believe. The photo is storyless by itself. It also is too out of focus, yes I know you'll say intentional for dof, and ends up too dark as well as out of focus. Sorry but it's a 3 to me. PTL
