Kitteh...

The quality on this is not what I wanted. Mr. Kitteh was not thrilled to be there and I could not shoot fast enough.

Without da flower the cat is not touching anything. Would kind of kill the 5 senses mojo me thinks.

Hmm interesting - yet kinda kinky . .

There's a lot to like about this the crop the colour the mix of elements - but, but , the focus just isn't there . .

With the focus right this would be - as I believe the modern vernacular goes - Bangin' !!

:- )

I like the idea of this but I feel it is a little blurry or the DoF is too shallow

Out of my face."

Yeah, and kitty kat could not care less. Still it's a fine capture and in total agreement with the challenge. And besides, it *IS* a cat.

Adding the flower didn't add to the composition but rather distracts from the subject... nice lighting on the cat's face.

Cute. I would have waited for the cat to either close his eyes and rub against it (as they do when they pay their face), lick the flower with the tounge texture as a good contrast. or see if the cat would be willing to smell the flower. Alas, cat subjects are often hard to pose! The slight eyeblink of it's right eye helps sell that the cat feels the flower I also like how you chose a pastel pink instead of a bright red, which helps accentuate the cat's pastel nose, eyes, and lighter fur.

Like the expression, the cat doesn't look impressed! The focus could be a tad sharper.
